Happy 231st Birthday to the U.S. Army!

Happy Birthday to the greatest military fighting force that the world has ever known. I will be toasting tonight with dinner! I'll post a picture, it is a nice evening so I may have to eat on the deck tonight. Hooah!

I am enjoying myself from now until the 27th. I am on Leave! Of course my decadence will be interrupted by having all four of my wisdom teeth pulled tomorrow. So, I may need to toast three or four times tonight. Hooah!

Man, I hope you got to go to an oral surgeon and not a regular dentist! All the wisdom teeth horror stories I've heard have been from those who went to dentists. I, on the other hand, went to an oral surgeon. I got a Valium drip (wow! that felt good), no infection or inflammation, and very little post-op pain.

How did your wisdom-removing experience go?

It actually went pretty well. I have never had a problem with infection or inflammation after medical procedures so I feel pretty good. The pain wasn't that bad, it was just the cracking noises as they removed the teeth that was the worst.
